🎆 Celebrate the 4th, Give Back on the 5th! 🌊

Birch Bay Beach Cleanup – Saturday, July 5th, 2025
🕘 9 AM – 12 PM
📍 Need supplies? Meet near the Birch Bay Beach Park (7930 Birch Bay Drive).

Every 4th of July, thousands of people flock to Birch Bay for a weekend of fireworks and fun. During the day, they explore our beautiful beaches and local attractions – by nightfall the sky comes alive with dazzling, non-stop fireworks. Many say it is the most spectacular 4th of July celebrations they’ve ever seen!
But while this celebration isn’t something we organize – it just happens to our community – the mess left behind is very real.

💥 in 2024, volunteers collected over 5.32 tons (10,640 lbs!) of trash from our shoreline. We need your help to do it again!

💪 Join us to:

* Bag debris along the beach
* Move it to the roadside (near the white line) for collection
🚓 Whatcom County Sheriff’s Crew will take it from there and haul it to the dumpster.

🧤 Supplies: globes, bags, tools, grabbers etc.
☕️ Refreshments: 9 AM – 12 PM

🌿 Let’s keep Birch Bay clean and beautiful – for visitors and our community alike.
